It's a large and lovely park with something for everyone. You can walk there from the flat along the canal - turn left when you hit Crate Brewery to join Regents Canal, which leads you to Victoria Park

There's a little-known trail at the top corner of the park - walk up the Western-most side of the park until you hit a trail behind the tennis courts, off to the left. A disused railway, it takes you directly up to Highgate Wood through the trees.
