Food Scene
There are two miamamia cafes. This one is the more southern one which does not offer scrambled eggs. Well, at least this is how we always distingiush them. that said, both miamamia cafe's have a gread choice for breakfast, fresh salads, freshly made juices and one of the best cappuccini in the city (what they also claim themselves). We love to go here for breakfast, brunch and a good coffee.
You'll order and pay by the cash register and tell the staff your name and where you sit, they'll bring it then to you.

Super yummy food with a really nice and lovely interior. You'll get a cup of popcorn to shorten your time until your dish arrives. The food is great, so is the staff and the beer.

Lovely Korean restaurant with friendly staff. Very closeby the Messe Essen but more importantly it is less than 15 meters from our flat. :)

Great pasta and delicious and huge pizzas combined with the nice interior design. This is always a safe and good choice. Just a 5 min walk from our place. :)

The entrance of this lovely park is right next to the Grugahalle in front of the apartment. You can spot the "Hundertwasserhaus" designed by Friedensreich Hundertwasser or just stroll along in the park. It also perfect for a good run after work.

This is actually a reservoir. However, the area around it is really nice. You can go for a walk or a run and you can ride around the lake by bike. A couple of restaurants and nice places can be found along the way aswell.
