Food Scene

The coolest little place in town to grab a good meal at a fair price. Staff is super friendly and the atmosphere is very Euro cafe style with a tropical twist.

SJDS Spanish School has great staff and offer one on one classes for all levels of Spanish speakers. The new location is the 2nd floor of the Remax Real Estate building, across from the central park.

Surfing at Playa Maderas is almost always excellent. It can get crowded in the small cove, but you'll get a combo of big waves further out and powerful white water closer in for the longboarders.

Closest thing to a completely private, deserted beach I've ever seen. You can't drive to it. You have to park and walk the trail down the hillside to get to it. The experience is worth the effort.
