An iconic old school diner in south city. My friend from Australia said it best, "this is real America!". There is nothing better than listening to the Beastie Boys and Ray Charles while you enjoy this greasy spoon. This is one of my favorite places in STL and I always take my guest here. Make sure you hit up the ATM they only take cash.

Build your own Burger or chose from one of their amazing ones. The Parmesan herb fries are a must. Out of all of the burgers I have had in STL for the last 6 years, these are the best.

Drinks & Nightlife

It's a real STL pub. Only the locals go there and the bartenders are old school. Lawrence aka "Lucky" is the best!

Great cocktails and they have fortune tellers there at night. In 1908 at the Worlds Fair they banned it so you couldn't charge for fortunes. Since then the law has never been changed or updated. Lucky for us, all you have to do is tip $10-$30. Plus this is on Cherokee Street which is lined with bars, music venues, and authentic Mexican food.

This will be the most unique place you have ever been. Ever had your bartender serve you beer from a boat? Ever seen an entire wall covered with baby doll heads? Get ready to take it all in, it's amazing.

Entertainment & Activities

This is a huge playground for kids and adults and a MUST see if you come to STL. It is not a museum but instead get ready to climb, jump, squeeze through holes, go down slides, and get an amazing view of the city from the Ferris Wheel on the roof.

Going to Busch Stadium is unlike any other ballpark you can go to. Even if you aren't a Cardinals fan, be ready to be amazed! Skip Ballpark Village after and go to the Broadway Oyster Bar for some amazing live music and the best patio in STL.

Sightseeing

Thursday-Saturday visit the Soulard Farmers market. You have to get a bloody mary from Julias. There are tons of veggies, fruits, meat, seafood, spices, herbs, soaps, and food to eat. You can also usually catch some people playing live music outside of the market on both ends. After you are done go to Bogarts and have the best BBQ in STL!!
