This is my favourite place in the entirety of Toronto. I've gone to this garden since 1992 and it really feels like a separate place from the city. In the summer, the flowers are all in bloom and the entire area is pretty much a cultivated garden/field plus some wooded area. Great for photos, painting live landscapes, seeing small animals, and enjoying the fresh air!
In the summer there are also a lot of bridal parties taking photos so it's fun to people watch.
"Upstairs" in the Learning Gardens and the wood trails is a perfect couple spots to picnic! Bring a picnic lunch one day and find a shady spot under an old willow tree for something you and your family will remember for a very long time.
The best part is the parking and the garden is by donation so it really doesn't cost anything if you don't want it to!

The aquarium including the diver show took about 2 hours to go through, and was nicely laid out. My favorites are the shark tube, cleaning shrimp, fluorescing jelly fish, and shark embryo. I've definitely been to my share of aquariums in my life, but for some reason I was wonderstruck by many of the displays here.
Save yourselves some time by booking online and to also save a few bucks, come after 7pm! Fewer people and cheaper? It's a win-win situation for me.

This is one of the best liquor stores we have been to. Service is exceptional, very friendly and informative staff. Lots of brands and categories to pick from and there is usually pretty good sales. The beer variety packs are good if you are having a group of friends over for dinner.
