Plenty of estuary for safe, uncrowded swimming; dogs on leash; good surfing; Nature Reserve; miles of beach & headland walking. Foreshore area with plenty of shade, barbeques & tables & seating. Get yourself some fish & chips , burgers or a vego option from one of the takeaways & have a picnic on the grass or grab some meat from Cal's Butchery to cook on one of the bbqs.
