A real hidden spot, almost opposite Dalston Junction Station. There's only a door between two buildings that leads you into this exciting urban garden. When the weather is nice and you need peace & quiet, this is perfect. Open every day.

My favourite place in London! An eccentric architect left his house as a museum for the public, to exhibit his private collection of artefacts, paintings. There's no electricity in the rooms, the ceilings are designed in a way that the sun lights up the rooms. Open from Tuesday till Sunday, free entry.

I've never seen a tedious or bad play at this theatre! It's a bit alternative, fringe, sometimes showing hard hitting plays, showcasing new talent. Tuesdays are 'pay-what-you-can', have to go there at 6PM to queue and to get the tickets in person.

Shopping

Open on Sundays only, 8AM-2.30PM I'm sure you don't often see a place like this! It's an amazing feeling to walk around on a bright day amongst all the flowers. There are pretty, small shops, some selling antiques, in and around the street. It gets very crowded because Columbia Road is so narrow.

The Actors' Church in Covent Garden. Not to be confused with St Paul's Cathedral! Check out their events page, couple of years ago I saw Richard III, set in the church and the churchyard, performed by the Iris Theatre. A brilliant theatrical experience! They are returning this summer (2017) with Macbeth. So looking forward to it!
