Kaffe 1870 is packed with local's of all ages. It's our local watering hole and is loved by everyone who visits. They have everything from open mic nights, live music, to special event nights, such as " The Old High School Dance Party" where they bring in a DJ to play everything 80's and 90's to a mixed crowd of Wakefielder's and middle aged parents sneaking away for a night of fun and an out of control dance party.

The Boucherie MS. is about 5 minutes from the cottage. This is the only gas station in the region so fill up in town on your way up or head to The Boucherie MS. The store is a butcher shop/ gas station and butcher shop with quality a quality meat and deli selection. A few wild game meat options as well.
