This old lighthouse stands like a sentinel over the Armenistis area and stands as mute testimony to the rich maritime past of Mykonos. At present, this legendary lighthouse is managed by the Hellenic Navy's Hydrographic Office. The lighthouse is all of 19 meters in height. The best part about this lighthouse which is conspicuous by its octagonal tower is that it is still in operation. In order to visit the Armenistis lighthouse, one has to take the road from Agios Stefanos.

The southern beach is the calmer, while the northern one is fully organised and lined by many taverns playing music. Paranga beach can be reached by bus, by a 15 minute walk from Platis Yialos or by one of the frequent taxi-boats going to Super Paradise Beach.

Agrari and Elia are located near each other, forming a huge sandy beach, 8 kilometres from the island's capital. Agrari Beach is less popular than its neighbor Elia and much calmer. They both can be reached by local bus and by taxi-boat.
As with many of the beaches you approach from on high and then down a long, thin, steep road. There is a smallish cafeteria and two sets of beach loungers with shades. There are many nudists on this beach. From this beach you can walk over the rocks to the left to visit Elia
