Sightseeing
Preikestolen (the Pulpit Rock) is one of Rogaland county's most visited attractions, and one of the country's most spectacular photo subjects. Preikestolen has been named one of the world's most spectacular viewing points by both CNN Go and Lonely Planet. It rises 604 metres above the Lysefjord. The trip takes about 4 hours back and forth, and is about 6 km. Be sure to bring with you good walking shoes.
It is possible to get there by boat, bus and car. Please ask if wanting any recommendations on how to get there.

It's recommended to bring some money for snacks at 'Is Paradice'. They have tasty dishes, whether you want a burger or just a cake.
