This is my favorite spot in California. I always see whales and dolphins here and you can take a short hike to the top of an overlooking peak and feel like you are on top of the world.

Year round They have workout gym equipment outside and the puppies run around wild every day off leash. It’s a good spot to study or read a book. Grab lunch at erewhon and walk over.

An epic spot to hike for the day - they filmed tons of sci fi movies here including Star Trek and the Flinstones. This is the closest jumping off point of the PCT and how to see it, and be on it, within just over an hour.
