A modern Afghan restaurant in Adams Morgan that will not disappoint your palette! Perfect place for couples, families, large groups, or just dining alone. Afghan food is very popular in itself, but this place offers the experience that many restaurants can't - from the unique Afghan decor to its food presentation to its locally sourced ingredients. There's also a downstairs level where you will find more Afghan original art, decor, and great ambience. You can't go wrong with any of the menu choices but my personal favorites are the Sambosa Trio, the pumpkin & potato Bolani, aush (Afghan stew), and mixed grill with rice. Favorite dessert: Orange pound cake!

Authentic, extremely budget friendly, and within walking distance! This place is definitely a local's favorite. For food, my favorite is the Bistec and Pollo tacos, as well as their amazing guac! For drinks, I highly recommend the Habanero Margarita, especially for those that enjoy a nice kick in their drinks.

Their burrata is fresh, as is every other ingredient they use. This place is highly recommended. You will feel like you are having an authentic Italian dinner. 7 minute drive, 20 minute walk.
A great Turkish restaurant situated in the heart of the neighborhood called Adams Morgan, which is a very eccentric and lively area (which is also where Al Volo and Lapis Bistro are located). Meze is great for sharing small plates.

1036 Park Rd NWA charming little Italian pizza restaurant in the neighborhood called Wonderland. Less than 10 minute walk from my home. They have great brick oven pizza and my absolute favorite is the Spinaci w/ chicken. I’d only go here if you were in the mood for pizza.
This is a great Indian restaurant. Less than 5 minute walk from my home. Inexpensive but still quality good Indian food. My favorite is the chicken tikka masala and tandoori chicken. I also love their Samosa with potato.

Conveniently located wine shop, on the same side of the street and across from Target. They have fantastic specialty pairing foods here too, as well as nicely packaged gifts if you want to bring back a little souvenir! They also have beer. Just a 5 minute walk!

Multi-level lounge with so many different rooms that offer different music genres/DJ's playing everything from Latin to Jamaican to hip hop. There's also large outdoor deck and live music at the very top floor where they often play jazz. No matter your taste in music or scene, you will find a room that will suit your taste.

One of my favorite speakeasy bars ever! Upon arriving, you'll notice a typical small Italian deli. But look to the corner where you'll see a large freezer door and you'll notice a gentleman sitting there. You'll be led in through the freezer door where you'll soon find a gorgeous lounge with cozy seating throughout. Be sure to have your drinks made by Rohit, my favorite bartender!

But look to the corner where you'll see a large freezer door and you'll notice a gentleman sitting there. You'll be led in through the freezer door where you'll soon find a gorgeous lounge with cozy seating throughout. Be sure to have your drinks made by Rohit, my favorite bartender!

My favorite park in the area to visit for either a nice walk or a jog. You'll find others on the benches reading a book, playing with their dogs, or enjoying the fountains. I highly suggest runners to check this place out, as well as those that want to take some nice outdoor pictures. Sunday is the best day to visit as they have an awesome drum circle performance.

One of my favorite neighborhoods to visit as there is no place like it in DC! Very hip, artsy, and full of character. There are several mom and pop eateries, vintage shops, book stores, rooftop bars, nightly live performances, and other very unique finds.
