This Gurudwara located on top of the hill is very unique. It's a grand structure which provides vantage point view to San Jose.
The Gurudwara has a very big and magnificent prayer hall, which could easily house 1000+ devotees as a time. You can check their website for prayer schedules and any special occasion celebration.
The Langar Hall is also quite spacious, and offers a warm delicious full meal, round the clock.
It welcomes people from all religion. It's a religious place first and then a tourist attraction.
So it will be good if you plan to visit be decently dressed. Also before entering Prayer hall, you need to cover your hair, the clean scarfs are provided at the entrance.

Runners or Walkers? Located behind Evergreen Valley College, this park offers wonderful views of the Santa Clara Valley. It consists of unpaved intersecting trails which extend from Evergreen Creek/Falls Creek Road to Yerba Buena Road. The trails are well maintained and great for hiking/walking or mountain biking. There is very little shade, so on a hot day it would be better to go in the evening or early morning. Parking in the college lot could be a challenge as it gets very full, plus you have to pay except on Sunday. I usually park on one of the side streets in the adjacent neighborhood.
