ZOO style CWS has basically the big five Australian animal and mammals that all visitors to Australia want to see. The miniature train takes visitors around the Sanctuary to all the different shows from "The wild bird show", "The Australiana" show, "The Blinky Bill show" and "The Crocodile show". This is the best place cuddle a koala, pat a kangaroo and nurse a baby crocodile.

"The Rock" pools are a beautiful 15 minute site seeing drive from our house where there are public electric bar- be-ques available for an easy lunch by the creek. Up the end of Currumbin Creek Road their is an historical Saw Mill and water falls at the end of a 15 minute walk on established paths. Beautiful scenic drive and walking trail.

Currumbin Creek Road"The Rock" pools are a beautiful 15 minute site seeing drive from our house where there are public electric bar- be-ques available for an easy lunch by the creek. Up the end of Currumbin Creek Road their is an historical Saw Mill and water falls at the end of a 15 minute walk on established paths. Beautiful scenic drive and walking trail.
Another beautiful scenic drive up into what we call "The green behind the Gold" the tropical hinterland. Very picturesque day trip with views all over the whole of the Gold Coast. There is a canopy walk up amongst the rain forest and beautiful native birds and plants to see.

Getting Around
The buses run the length of the Gold Coast and down their Gold Coast Highway near our home but if you can hire a car it would be beneficial to enable you to travel out to "The Hinterland" to see the tropical rain forests, waterfalls, the many Theme Parks that call the Gold Coast Home. There are so many wonderful sites to see and foods to try.
