This place has freshly made bagels and donuts every morning. You gotta try one of their signature cream cheeses they make from scratch. My favorite is the vegetable cream cheese....sounds weird but it is delicious!

This is the Marina Farmer's Market which is across the street from the condo! It is on Sundays from 10am to 2pm. Fresh local veggies hot food. I recommend the baked potatoes piled high with sour cream, cheese, bacon, and chives! Yum!

Go to Kayak Connection to rent kayaks or set up a tour to see and learn about the biologically diverse Elkhorn Slough. Check out the seals, seal lions, otters, and dozens of species of migratory birds. One of my favorite outdoor activities in the Monterey Bay!

Beautiful and quiet State Beach a mile from the condo! I like to walk here from home, passing Locke Padden (lake) on the way. You can also get drinks and dinner at the Salt and Wood restaurant in the dunes at the beach. Bring a jacket in case it gets windy!

200 Reservation RdBeautiful and quiet State Beach a mile from the condo! I like to walk here from home, passing Locke Padden (lake) on the way. You can also get drinks and dinner at the Salt and Wood restaurant in the dunes at the beach. Bring a jacket in case it gets windy!
This trail is located just a few blocks from the condo and is amazing for riding bikes or just walking along the ocean in the dunes. The trail is 18 miles long, spanning from Castroville (north of the condo) to Pacific Grove. I have also taken my bike even further into Asilomar and Pebble Beach too. Quiet, amazing views! FYI- There are some hills as you get closer to Seaside, CA.

Highly recommend booking a kayak tour here. The guides are extremely knowledgeable and will point out animals that you wouldn't even know were there! Many of the guides are biology/marine biology students from one of the many local universities. I can't recommend this enough!
