If you have time during your stay to explore other parts of the island, we defiantly recommend making a reservation. Very popular with locals and visitors. Try going in the afternoon to beat the crowds, take a walk through the beautiful village of Exo Gonia to get a feel of the past.
Ps. The Kataifi is a must!

For a quick hike from the house, you can head up to "Stavros," which is one of the churches on the path. It only takes a brisk 30-ish minute to reach, and it offers incredible views. We highly recommend catching the sunrise or sunset from there. It's a steep incline on rocky terrain so please bring water and proper shoes.
