A natural secluded bay that remains unspoilt by take-aways or fast food outlets. The rocky pools are great places to explore for fossils and interesting stones. Here, you will find a little beach-hut cafe serving breakfasts, cakes, ice-creams etc when weather permits. Facing France with large open terraces is the Coastguard Pub and Restaurant which serves cooked food most of the day (please check as this may change seasonally). Dover Castle is a must, perfect for sunny and rainy days alike. A beautiful easy walk along the White Cliffs from Calais View Garden Apartment. Approximately 1 1/2 hours walk.

Out of season, the castles may only be open at the weekend, worth bearing in mind.
