One of the best authentic Mexican restaurants around. Fresh food, amazing margaritas and perfect for a romantic date night. This isn't your gimmicky Mexican place with loud music and gaudy decor. Like a nice Italian restaurant but with affordable prices.

Best breakfast place in town. Seriously their pancakes are amazing and the skillets are unbeatable. So are the prices for as much food as you get. If there's a wait, it is worth it.

Not a winery themselves, but this tucked away wine cellar will not only offers an amazing atmosphere but also an outstanding selection of wines with staff that will help you pick something out to fit your taste.
The real secret is the live music on Saturday nights from 8-10. You wouldn't expect such a tiny place to host live music, but that is what makes it great. Expect an intimate and fun concert tucked away in an actual cellar with walls lined with wine. Just grab a bottle of your choosing. Get there early though to get a limited seat by the band.

With so many forest preserves offering walking and biking trails, it can be hard to choose, but this is definitely one of my favorites. These are not all paved trails and you're often out in nature by yourself since not a lot of joggers and bikers pick this location.
