Arts & Culture
Rachaiya is still considered to be a traditional Lebanese town with its old cobbled streets and small shops, even though it witnessed in recent years a slight expansion of buildings. It retains a distinguished character of traditional stone houses with red tiled roofs.
The small souk in the middle of the town offers various shops selling local crafts and inexpensive goods. There is a recently renovated goldsmiths selling an assortment of gold and silver jewelry in Byzantine and other styles.
The nearby Faqaa forest is classified as a protected area. a must see : The citadel (Citadel of Independence), old souks...

Great park at the entrance of Joub Jannine city. It’s well taken care of. It consists of a Soccer field, Basketball court, a pathway around to walk or bike. Grass field with trees to sit under and an area for kids to play.
They do a lot of community events / concerts here during the summer and special activities.
The park is good for a lazy afternoon trip with the kids, but the amusement park in front of it is at your own risk and responsibility.
