This is the most beautiful beach as it's surrounded by cliffs not a town. Get there early on a hot day though as parking is a nightmare after about 11am.

The nearest beach to here, 20 mins drive, pebbly, but easy to park if you get there early. Check the tide times as when the tide is out it's very muddy.

The top of Wye Downs is absolutely stunning and Wye's a lovely village (the king's head is a nice pub, need to book). Great place for a walk with the kids and you can park at the top of the downs (the search isn't recognising that place, but if you google the devil's kneading trough that's where the car park is)

An amazing amazing place to go with kids - wartime tunnels and a big castle, it's amazing!
Walmer castle is smaller but with beautiful grounds. If you want to go to both you may as well get English Heritage membership as it's very expensive.
