Go here your first day because you will want to go back again! Julie's favorite: Bacon Egg Bolo on a Croissant - ask for the tomato relish, too. Divine. Bob's favorite: Cinnamon roll, and if you go first thing in the morning they are still warm! Also, great sandwiches, pastries. Decent coffee. Some indoor seating. Can get really busy on weekends, so go early. Lots of nice picnic tables outside on sunny warm days. A nice morning walk - about 15 minutes or so from the house.

Oh my. What to say about this gem. If you love dessert this is an absolute - do not miss --.... you can even pop in to get takeout dessert if you don't want to dine in. It's also a very good restaurant. Gorgeous patio for sunny day leisurely lunches. I prefer lunch over dinner. They also do a nice brunch on the weekends. Walkable.

There are a few Bamboo Sushi's around - maybe 4 - one is in NW Portland, too - if you are shopping in that area. We love it. Sustainable, nice atmosphere, and fantastic sushi. They also have the best Happy Hour M-Th. Make a reservation if you do during peak time. Popular. All locations are great.
