A really lovely wholesome restaurant. They have the freshest ingredients and care is taken in every dish to make sure they are good to mother earth. A small little play area for kids available. Great place for a pit stop when cycling the peninsula.

This is one of our favorite restaurants for seafood. We don't even look at the menu when you go there: we order a bottle of rose, and the seafood platter that they have on offer on their specials boards (it does change as the catch changes) and we add the Gambas Pil Pil to that (a jammy, peri peri prawn thing which is unexplainable!) It is very popular with the tour groups so booking is important. They have a small play area for the kids outside and a lovely simple kids menu.

One of the best places to grab ol' school fish and chips in the deep south! On the Simon's Town waterfront right next to the jetty that launches the whale watching boats. On Sunday and public holiday they do not have waiting staff.

We recently returned to the Brass Bell after many years of not going and wow: what a change. There are 7 different area's on which to dine, our favorite being the Oyster Deck with some bubbles and a plate of traditional oysters. We have heard (but not yet tried) that their seafood platter (including lobster / crayfish) is amazing! They are child friendly and have built 2 dining decks around a small little beach area so the little ones can play in the sand and small splash pool. The Kalk Bay Tidal pools are also there so a quick splash to cool down is in order!

Glencairn Tidal pool is about 5 minute drive away and really lovely. It has recently been redone.
