Located just about a mile from the cabin is the public beach access. There is 30+ miles of beach to play on. You are allowed to drive on the beach, as well as fish and camp. You are required to have a beach access pass on your vehicle, which can be purchased at Stanley's Grocery in downtown Matagorda.
