I celebrated my birthday dinner here. It's a bit far from my house but the neighborhood is worth it! You get a beautiful view of NJ and of the Hudson river, while sipping on a delicious mimosa! It's a bit pricy so I recommend going here for a special occasion.

I am not a sweets person.. but this is no lie, the only bakery i only step foot in. its expensive, but when that spongy chocolate mouse touches your mouth and you bite into the next three spongy layers and down it with some hot chocolate... its sooo worth it. they sell SO much stuff and they're ALWAYS packed so go during the day if you want to have a chance to sit down..

If its summer and if you don't have a car but you have nothing to do, put this in your GPS and walk here from my house! Orrr-take the bus! Super long walk but so worth it. Middle Village is a super quiet neighborhood, the ambience is completely relaxing. Personally, there are a lot of parks near my house, but I only go to this one. It's NEVER crowded, super clean, has basketball courts, a big playground for kids, handball courts, dog park and a huge field. You run around the perimeter! It's also a perfect place to watch astrological events, as the field is huge giving a clear view of the sky.
