Potters Crouch walking route to the country-side pub, Holy Bush
Going through a public path in a farm field, then onto a woody area where lots of blue bells bloom in the spring you can walk to Holy Bush which is a nice country-side pub with a large garden. It should take you 25-30 minutes one way. There are many farms around this area so you get the scenic views and you rarely run into any cars. if you have a bike there is a circular cycling route in the country-side that will take you about an hour.

I do my walk regularly around the lake in Verulamium Park but when I want to do more vigorous exercise such as swimming I go there, which is also within walking distance from my house.
