A local fav for sure. Save room for the sweet rolls, they're large and delicious. They make tortillas fresh in house daily and you can by them by the dozen to take home.

Near by, it's always been great when we've went here. They have homemade cheesecake to top off any meal. They offer some New Mexican style choices as well as regular American fare.

This is a local burger place but the chile is amazing. It can be hot so I caution you if you're not use to hot chile. The green chile cheese fries are great! We love Taco Burger Tuesday too.

There is a sit down restaurant here despite the name, for many years it was just a carry out. The rolled tacos are a fav of mine, basically taquitos for those that don't know.

They have great burgers here. It's close to the airport too. Love the wedge fries dipped in their cheese sauce. They have great milk shakes too.

Local burger spot but they do make a delicious breakfast burrito too, multiple locations through out Albuquerque including one near the airport on Gibson, not all of them serve breakfast so check that if you're looking for the breakfast burrito. Green chile cheese burger is a local fav, caution the heat of the chile can be hot for some people.

The top of the mountain can be quite cold so even in good weather you should take a jacket with you. Lots of trails to hike. Sunscreen is always recommended anytime of year here.

It's a really great zoo, there is a train you can ride for a few dollars that takes you to the Aquarium if you buy the combo pass. It will be a full day activity to get the full experience of the Zoo, Aquarium and Botanical garden. Lots of walking but well worth it.
