On The Lake
Washburn Marina offers guided boat tours of Lake Lure and private boat rentals. If you are bringing your own boat you can also obtain a visitor boat permit here. All boats, including non-motorized vessels, require a daily permit.

Lake Lure Adventure Company is an adventure! They offer private boat rentals, waterskiing, tubing, kneeboarding and wakeboarding. The staff is incredible as well.

The Flowering Bridge is a community volunteer planted and preserved Wildlife Habitat recognized by the National Wildlife Federation. It is a must see any time of year and an easy stroll for all ages and activity levels. We definitely recommend doing the scavenger hunt while touring the gardens.
