A serene trail through the forest leading to a stunning waterfall. The parking lot is just a 15 minute drive from our suite, and the walk to and from the falls is about 1 hour round trip.

A serene trail through the forest leading to a stunning waterfall. The parking lot is just a 15 minute drive from our suite, and the walk to and from the falls is about 1 hour round trip.
A 15 minute drive away (or a 1.5 hour hike, one way), this is a nice lake in a forested area. There are several places to sit down, and the lake is popular for paddling, and skating in the winter.
Stavsjøen

A 2.5 km walking trail on an old railway track along the fjord. The trailhead is a 10 minute drive from here, and the trail is accessible all year round. There are numerous spots to veer off the main path and near the fjord or into the forest, and even a prime spot for fjord fishing if you've brought your rod! Malvikstien is also connected to a larger network of trails within the area.
Malvikstien
