Renegades is a must see! There is a restaurant, tiki bar, marina and RV park. On Tuesday nights and Sunday afternoons, karaoke is offered at the tiki bar. On Wednesday and Thursday nights there is usually live music, usually a single singer or duo. Friday and Saturday nights offer live bands at the tiki bar. You must be 21 to enter the tiki bar but there are picnic tables outside of it that you can watch the entertainment if you do not go into the tiki bar. The restaurant also has a full bar and serves seafood, burgers, pizza and steaks. If you like a little spice, try the buffalo shrimp!

18 hole golf course only a couple of miles from the cottage. It is a par 3 course, not difficult. They have a small restaurant with pretty good breakfast!

On the River
Just about a 20-30 minute boat ride from the cottage is Silver Glen. You can take your boat into the springs but remember that summers get very busy!

Salt Run is on northwest side of Lake George, with about a 10-15 minute boat ride into the springs from the mouth of the run. You may see a lot of wildlife on the way in, this is a popular manatee spot in the winter. The springs are roped off but you can get your boat pretty close to the spring head. It is best described as a big spring lake and you may just come across 10 boats in the area or hundreds, depending on the weather and day you pick.

This is another riverfront restaurant/bar. It is accessible by both boat and vehicle. They have a simple menu but we find the food to be very good!! The ahi tuna burger is really yummy and the frozen drinks are made with ice cream, so good on a summer day.
