San Francisco or San Pancho as the locals call it, is only 20 minutes south on hwy 200 by car. A hip and funky little beachtown. We love the shopping in San Pancho. In the evening there is live music in the street and endless options for dining.

Food Scene
Our favorite go to cafes restaurants and cocktail hour spots from Los Ayala, Rincon de Guayabitos and to La Penita Nayarit! Breakfast or, desayuno in Spanish has got to be my (Erica's) most fave pastime of the entire day. Nayarit is known for their coffee beans all over Mexico.

Ada and I stumbled onto this corner spot just recently and I knew it was going to be good when we opened the menu and saw they served Reuben, Bratwurst just to name a couple. The owners are from Canada and super friendly. Indoor and outdoor seating! Get ready for a food coma!!
