This monument needs no introduction! It is really easy to get here from the Elliniko metro station. I went on a Sunday and the ride was 20 minutes. No need to change metro lines.
I would pre-book and come early in the morning or in the afternoon as it can be hot during the day. Check opening and closing times.
Calculate an extra hour or even more to visit the Acropolis museum. If possible also pre-book.
