Clean beautiful beach that isn’t too crowded. A 45 min train ride from Trastevere station, you then have to walk about 20 minutes to the beach but it’s so worth it! It’s a free beach on the left of the castle and you can borrow our beach umbrella! On the right of the castle you can also rent an umbrella.

If you don’t want to walk too far from the train and want more of an organized beach setting with cafes and umbrellas to rent- but still clean water and pretty view then this is the place! Easily reachable in 45 minutes from Trastevere station.

Combination of beaches, and beautiful small town with restaurants and good views. There is also an ancient Roma villa archeological site to visit. A good day trip- the train takes you to a bus which drops you at the city. About an hour and a half journey.
