Little Tokyo of Düsseldorf, where you can find lots of Japanese stores, Ramen restaurants etc. If you ask me personally, I find Ramen here still not very impressive compared to Chinese noodles or the real deal in Japan. But if you really want to go in Düsseldorf because that is what it’s famous for - go to Tokyo Ramen for the chicken broth and avoid the senseless queue over at naniwa (completely overrated).

Muggel is in the Oberkassel neighborhood of Düsseldorf, opposite of the Rhine river. While the restaurant serving classic German food is usually full and needs reservation their souterrain cinema is the oldest cinema in Germany offering cozy artistic independent movies.

Bismarckstraße is the street to go to for all things Korean. Korean bbq stores are all over the place. My fave has to be the „Korea“, don’t order their Bbq buffet but their normal dishes, there is a common buffet offering rice, oranges and ribs for everyone! For BBQ buffet you can go to Seoul right opposite of the street.

The K21 and K20 are big museums that should be on your cultural list through Düsseldorf. On the upper floor of K21 there is an artpiece where you can test out your fear of height - you’re going to walk on steel wire with a view to the ground of the building!

I personally (like almost every other Chinese girl) am a boba professional. If you want to try out bubble tea for yourself, please don’t order any other topping than the tapioca. That is the classic completely healthy bubble made out of plant starch from the tapioca plant. Try the classic black milk tea at teammate and thank me later!

Zons is a cute town on the other side of the Rhine, you can take the ferry from Urdenbach to reach the antique cobblestone town and enjoy a nice afternoon coffee here! 100% recommend.
