Excellent wine, in a beautiful blue-ridge setting. Very quiet and comfortable. Great place for a date or small crowd. Very close to Veritas Winery as well, which also has great wine (more expensive and more crowds).

Parks & Nature
Going south on the Blue Ridge Parkway is free, very scenic and beautiful. Going North on Skyline Drive is in Shenandoah National Park, and charges a fee for each car. It is also very scenic, and worth the trip. Beware of the speed limit up there with many park rangers and deer & bear crossing the road.

This is very large dog park with woods, trails, open areas, on and on-leash dogs, and a picnic pavilion. They often have events here as well - running, civil war reenactment, mud races, etc.
