Sightseeing
I recommend this place to hike as it is for most levels of hiking experience. There are picnic tables available or bring lunch to the beach and find a log to sit on. The upper trails are mild hills and well marked. The beach trail is also well marked and better for more experienced hikers as the hills are more of an incline. Once you are down to the water, the woods just open up to the beach. Take a deep breath and soak in some sunshine.

just about a 35 minute drive, this is a nicely paved mild trail. no pets allowed but there is a dog park nearby.

Spencers is a great place to go to have a sit down breakfast, lunch, or dinner. Being only 10 minutes away, you can also call ahead and grab something to go. Spencer chips are a must try!

Shop their specialty seafood shop for all kinds of seasonable oysters, salmon, crab, lobster etc... grab a brew and a bote to eat in their saloon. sit out in your own covered A-frame picnic table with a voew of the canal.
