The boat ride on the Kazinga Channel allows you to immerse in the Queen Elizabeth National Park Water & Land Animals Life.
Expect to see plenty of Hippos, Crocodiles, Elephants, Buffalos, Birds, Water Bucks, Monitor Lizards and a lot of other Wild Game.

The boat ride on the Kazinga Channel allows you to immerse in the Queen Elizabeth National Park Water & Land Animals Life.

To get a great experience of the National Park, I would do a two days tour allowing me to spend the night in the Park.
With proper arrangements, it can be made for a discount. And definitely offers better value for the money than a 1 day Game Drive.

Like Under in World Widew Capitals, Kasese boasts of a strong Boda Boda (Motorbike) transport sector that is the cheapest for going to Places around town.
For Drives to Queen, Katwe and the surrounding, Hire Cars are recommended for safety. The public transport Taxis too can be relied on for going to a couple of places like Kazinga Channel.

On Mondays and Thursdays, Farmers come from all over the district to sell their farm produce. Since it is a day of fair competition amongst farmers, they tend to offer low prices, to ensure they can sell their produce and thus get enough to support their families and reinvest in their farms.
Visiting the Local Fruit Market is a must, and a great way to support the local economy.

As much as there is a saying that Spontaneity is at the heart of travel, sometimes it is best to book activities ahead of time to get discounts should other people choose to join your activity groups.
This is very true for activities like Game Drives, Cultural Tours and Experiences and even Hiking Activities.

Being Along The Equator Means Every Month Is Summer
Come on. Who doesn't like summer? Well. In Kasese, it is summer all year round. Because even during the rainy season, there are still many days where it will be warm all day or in the afternoon after a heavy morning rain downpour.
I would encourage parking more of the light clothes for the general around town activities, and a whole lot of Nature gear as there is plenty to explore on the Outdoors. A jacket or two doesn't hurt on rainy days.
If you don't own a hat, you can buy yourself an Artisan Hat in Kasese.
