Pretty much any food you could wish for is available on stalls in Camden Food Market. Turn left out of the house, down the steps to the canal and it's about 5 minutes from there.

Sightseeing

A climb to the top of Primrose Hill is worth it at any time of day. From the top you'll see all of the famous London landmarks - including the Millennium Wheel, St Paul's Cathedral, The Post Office Tower, The Shard and even Canary Wharf. But at night, when it's warm it's a great place to take a bottle of your favourite wine and a couple of glasses and just sit and watch the city shine.

Parks & Nature

London is one of the greenest cities on the planet. It is full of beautiful well kept parks. Regents Park and Zoo is about 10 minutes walk away. If you're a runner, the inner perimeter is about 5k - be sure to walk or run past the zoo and spot the Camels, the Howler Monkeys and you might even see one of the Tigers up a tree! There's a boating lake and rose garden and plenty of space to have a picnic.

About 20 minutes walk north find you on the edge of Hampstead Heath. The Heath has been a 'wild' spot in London since the 17th Century and it's still very gently tended to keep the countryside alive in London. Great for walks and picnics. Visit Kenwood House for a bit of History or have a drink at The Spaniards Inn - a famous and favoured spot of Highwaymen on the 1800's.

Essentials

Local grocery shopping. Expensive if you want to do a big shop but very convenient and in the heart of the village.
