The swell here is gentle enough that there's little danger of wiping out and there are red-and-yellow-clad surf lifeguards at the sidelines to keep everyone safe.
Cafes, kiosk, toilets, shops, showers are in the shady park next to the wave pool. Don't forget your sunscreen and water. Open day from 10am to 6pm. try and avoid the midday sun.

Generally very reliable and take you to your destination in reasonable time. Bus stops are in Bougainvilea Street and about 4 minute walk from your accomodation. Bus stops are mostly provided with large shade cover but ideal to wear a hat or take an umbrella.

Keep hydrated with water and wear a hat or take an umbrella if walking. Don't forget the suncreen. There is a small backpack in a small cupboard in the main bedroom for you to use on your short travels around Darwin or daytrips.
