Public Access Beach
30a beaches are a hot commodity. Plan to stake your claim to a spot on the public beach E - A - R - L - Y! I always recommend the beach in the early morning and then go back for sunset. All areas of the beach are not public - from a beach front property to the tide line is private space. For this reason we have 3 public beach options all accessible by golf cart.
Less then a mile from Sea Pearl, this is the nearest public beach access point. Parking is limited so load up the golf cart and get there early. Park, stake your claim to a spot… and then cross the street for coffee, rent a paddle board or simply sit and stare at the magical gulf coast ocean.

Ed Walline Public Beach Access

This restaurant is a tiny, hole in the wall, that packs a HUGE flavor punch. The Chef is spectacular, and super sweet. There are only a few tables so prepare to make friends.

Don’t go hangry - everything is made to order by the chef and sous chef, that kind of food art in a small space takes time. If you’re worried about the wait, go at an off peak time like bright and early in the morning or after the lunch rush. But make sure you go, it will definitely be a favorite spot!

Restaurants (travel by car)
These restaurants are close by but you’ll need to drive to get there safely. Golf carts are not allowed on highway 98 and we do not recommend crossing 98 on 393 either. The food is amazing so be sure to call ahead for reservations and don’t be shy about sitting at the bar with the locals!

Located on the bay North Beach Social has 2 great options for food, drinks and fun:
1. North Beach Social (ground level) order food at the register, drinks from the bar and hang out in the sand on the bay. Large outdoor blocks are provided for the kids to build and play.
2. Fin and Fire (upstairs) is a sit down restaurant. We like to sit at the outdoor patio because the massive tables accommodate our large group. There is a variety of great food but don’t sleep on the pizza, it’s amazing too!

Flights & Rental Cars
For those flying to Santa Rosa Beach, the house is centrally located between Destin (VPS) and Panama City (ECP) airports. Both airports have rental car options on site and are just under 1 hour drive from the house.
