MINERAL POINT RAILROAD SOCIETY The Mineral Point depot was built in 1856 from local materials, and has survived to become the oldest depot in Wisconsin. The Mineral Point Railroad Society was formed in 2000 to further the restoration of Mineral Point's historic railroad depot, and to promote historic preservation and community awareness through related historical activities. Once the restoration was completed, the depot reopened to the public as a railroad museum on September 2nd, 2004.

The 40-mile Military Ridge State Trail, in Iowa and Dane counties, connects Dodgeville and Madison by way of an 1855 military route between Verona and Dodgeville. The trail runs along the southern borders of Governor Dodge and Blue Mound state parks passing by agricultural lands, woods, wetlands and prairies.

The Olympic size pool was completed in 1937, built as a WPA project using stone from houses that were being dismantled on Shake Rag Street. Call 608.987.2175 (summer hours) for more information. PRICES Daily Pass: $4.00 - Good for afternoon and night session. Family Passes: Resident $100.00 Non-Resident $140.00 Student Pass: Resident $40.00 Non-Resident $55.00 Senior Pass: $30.00 Lap Swim or Aerobics: $2.00 per day or free with a pass.

You will see the improvements both inside and outside the doors of the clubhouse year after year. We’re very excited for the construction of the new cart shed and cart path project that will be continued on holes 2 and 16. Both projects will be completed early this Spring. The paving of all gravel cart paths throughout the course have been a great addition as we look forward to the continued upgrades in order to make Dodge Point Country Club the best course in Southwest Wisconsin.
