This is a MUST adventure for nature lovers & city folk alike. Anytime friends & family come to visit us we ALWAYS take them to paddle Econfina Creek. It is a easy slow cruising stream that takes about 3.5 hours, but you aren't on a schedule, and you can take as long as you like. We always pack a lunch and stop at one of the 6 major springs along the way to eat. The water is crystal clear and bright blue where the springs open up into the creek. The folks at Econfina Canoe Livery are awesome. I recommend single kayaks. If you have your own gear, they will let you launch from their site, and then shuttle you back to your car when you reach the end of the paddle. canoeeconfinacreek.net
