A few of our nearby favorites
Located less than a mile away, Empanada Sonata serves Cuban cuisine and is one of our absolute favorites. We love the Tostones con Churrasco and Cuban Pina Colada. Kids will love the mac-n-cheese empanada. The restaurant shares space with an axe throwing place (you read that correctly), giving you something fun to try before or after your meal.

Although it’s a little farther away (2.7 miles to be exact), we had to include McKnight Park’s Miracle Field and Playground, a special needs facility designed for inclusive play for kids of all ages and abilities. And did we mention they have a zip-line?! Make sure to enter the park from Dejarnette Lane. From there you can’t miss it.
