Looking to try some fish tacos. Best known are south of the border (Mexico), but this place brings it to us. They use to offer free tacos for 1st-time visitors, it's still worth a try and you won't need much more. Delicious!

Need a morning, evening, or weekend stroll? This is a great walking trail around the corner from the house. It's about a block, so a mile round trip. Great place to walk, jog, or run. If by chance the parking entrance is closed, parking outside on the street is an alternative.

Camp Bonta Prairie Forks RoadLooking for an adventure? This is it. It's a long hike, so I recommend leaving early. Like 6 AM/7, but you will have a scenic route from start to finish. This can be strenuous and wet. Hiking boots are recommended.
Historic National Park. This is a drive and recommended weekend trip. Look forward to dessert oasis and rock formations you have never seen anywhere else. People visit all around the world to experience this place. If you are adventurous, this is a rock climbers world. Try it with a local instructor or REI may have group classes. Famous places to stop for a quick pic: Skull Rock, Arch Rock (A little tricky to get to, but follow the crowd at the far back of White Tank campsite), and Cholla Garden.
