This coffee shop makes you feel like your not in the middle of West Texas. It has a big city vibe with modern decor in a high-riser building Downton. The coffee is great and so are all the pastries! The paleo donuts and avocado toast are my favorite.

Sugar Browns' beens never disappoint! They have an in house rostery that always rests fresh beans every Tuesday! Their baked goods are all delicious. They also always have local art displayed in their shop.

This place has a fun revolving menu that always keeps me coming back. You can always find a unique vegetarian option, but their Texas Burger with grilled jalapeños is one of my favorites. Wednesdays they give you a free beer with a purchase of one of their weekly special pizzas. If you're into brunch, then this is the place to be Sunday morning. They have great mimosas, seasonal quiche (my personal favorite) and a list of donut flavors that changes week to week! Be sure to make a reservation if you're going for brunch.

This bistro is the best in town! It is owned by a winery, so all the food pairs perfect with their own wine that they serve. My favorite is definitely their pizza, but you really can't go wrong. They have great charcuterie and often have live music in the evenings.

This is such a great place to go for a quick day trip and hike. My favorite trail is the Lighthouse. It has a beautiful rock structure at the trail head.

This park is perfect for walks during any season of the year. Take a stroll or brink a blanket and have a picnic. They also have a great October event with a jack o'lantern trail.

We have lots of wind in West Texas and the American Windmill Museum does a great job at educating about and preserving that history.

The National Ranching Heritage Center is a fun place to immerse yourself in history and get an up close look on how ranching has evolved through the years. They have a great winter event that celebrates Christmas with an old-time feel.
