Beautiful and easy hike through Smuggler Cove.
Best "easy" hike on the Coast. Drive an hour north to Egmont and hike the 4km well maintained path to the Skoocumchuk rapids. Time your visit to ensure you are there at peak flow to see the whirlpool! Grab some fresh bakeries at the Skookumchuck Bakery & Cafe (on the trail head below parking lot) and make sure to stop in at the Backeddy Pub for refreshments before driving home!

If you haven't managed to secure a ferry reservation, go to the "Ferry Reservations Sunshine Coast BC, Canada" group on Facebook and see if anything is up for grabs. No reservation - then get to the terminal early and have some patience!
