Best places to eat/drink!
Here a few of my favorite places to grab a bite to eat! All of them are only a 5 to 10 minute car ride away and well worth the trip! I’m big on a restaurant’s atmosphere but these places have that and great food/drinks!
A Gainesville staple for pizza and really great art! It is a must-see when you're in town and want to see somewhere really unique.

Best place for sushi and cocktails in town! It's a staple of downtown Gainesville for a fancier dinner, and it never disappoints despites being a little more expensive than other restaurants.

Another thing Gainesville has is great breweries for beer & ciders, including this one! Swamphead, First Magnitude and Cypress & Grove are a few of the big ones in town. Definitely fun if you want a fun atmosphere and to try new locally brewed drinks! These also often have food trucks set up for the night right near the brewery, if they don’t offer their own food that night.

We love 4th Ave Food park for all its food options like Opus Coffee, Satchel's Squared, Sublime Tacos and Fehrenbachers Deli. It's a great place to eat any of these and have a seat in the nice. shaded outdoor seating or even a cool decorated bus!

Try to go see the stadium while you’re here! It’s a sight to see at all times but there is nothing like it on those electric game days for Florida football in the Fall!

One of the past times that I have from growing up here in Gainesville is going to the bat houses on UF campus and seeing all the bats emerge from the huge bat houses around sunset. You get to catch the sunset and it’s a really unique experience that I would recommend anyone!

This is another one of the great Farmers Market we have here in Gainesville. This one is every Wednesday at 4pm, where there are many vendors selling food, retail, & more!

We usually have great and warm weather, but there are times when it rains here in Gainesville so be prepared for a rainy day here or there. Sometimes it will rain for 10 minutes only, then be sunny the rest of the day!
