WWT Slimbridge is a wetland reserve situated close to Slimbridge village, Gloucestershire. It was the first Wildfowl and Wetlands Trust (WWT) to be opened due to the vision of Sir Peter Scott.
Slimbridge Wetland Centre cares for and studies ducks, geese and swans of the world and offers excellent opportunity for bird watchers and photography.

This frontline fortress was later transformed into a palatial home with a hunting park and northern lake.
This Norman Castle retains many of its original features; it is one of the March Castles, built to keep out the Welsh.
It has all the trappings to match: trip steps designed to make the enemy stumble during an assault, arrow slits, murder holes, enormous barred doors, slots where the portcullis once fell, and worn stones where sentries stood guard.
The Castle hosts a range of events and activities for all the family to enjoy and throughout the school summer holidays have fabulous daily activities for children.

Within the henge is the largest stone circle in Britain - originally of about 100 stones - which in turn encloses two smaller stone circles.
