Whitehead is located approximately 2 miles from Ballycarry. It can be accessed within 5 minutes by car, via train from Ballycarry train station or even on foot for those who enjoy a good country walk

Ballycarry is one of the oldest settlements in Northern Ireland. It is a beautiful village with stunning views including Scotland on a good day. It features the Templecorran ruins as well as other historical features. Ballycarry is a small village but has a local shop, pub, post office, play park, Chinese takeaway and cafe.
