Miners Bay is main shopping area on Mayne Island. All of the following are 5-7 minutes walk from MayneWave. It includes Tru Value grocery store and the Trading Post grocery and liquor store. There is also Sunny Mayne Bakery, and the Gas Station/Post Office. In addition there is a craft store, and clothes stores.
The Ag Hall is the site of events including Art Shows, bingo. The grounds around the Ag hall is the site of the Farmers Market on Saturday mornings in summer and outdoor concerts also in summer.
Opposite the Ag Hall is the Thrift Store open on Saturday mornings. Next to the Thrift Store is the old Mayne Island lock-up and museum. Open on Saturdays in summer.
Also, Saturdays in summer from 12-3 pm Arnies crab boat is at the dock selling wonderful seafood.
