City/town information

Inverness is 16 Miles west of Nairn and is the Highland capital and smallest city in Scotland. It is a great place to visit and offers lots to see and do. There's plenty of shops, visitor attractions such as the Castle and activities such as cinema and live shows at Eden Court Theatre. It's also a great place to have a meal out with our own favourites being the Mustard Seed, the Kitchen and Rocpool.

Neighbourhoods

Nairn is a small seaside town and is fortunate to have a number of fantastic beaches along its coast. There is a large open area, called the Links, leading to the Central beach, and this is where you can find lovely cafes such as the Strathnairn - selling freshly caught seafood, and James cafe - selling their home-made Icecream. It has 2 children's play areas and the new Kids Splashpark is located there. To the East of the Links is the Harbour area, which is where you can find the Sundancer restaurant - with it's lovely menu and great views of the Moray Firth, and Basil's cafe - with its tasty breakfasts. Further east, you find the East Beach, a lovely sandy beach that runs to the Culbin Forest - a great place for walking and biking. Nairn is also well-known for it's 2 Championship Golf Courses - Nairn Golf Club and Nairn Dunbar. Both are top courses that will challenge most golf lovers.
